Bakers Island Light near Salem, Massachusetts – digital painting made from a photo where I made some small edits and I added aquarelle effects and painting texture. Bakers Island Light, a historic lighthouse on Bakers Island, Salem, Massachusetts, has stood since 1821, boasting a 59-foot height. Initially marked in 1791, it underwent transformations, including an octagonal stone tower built in 1820, and automation in 1972. Powered by solar energy since 2000, it's listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Visible from Harbor Street - Boardman Avenue loop, its charm extends to boat tours and overnight stays offered by Essex National Heritage Commission and Mahi Cruises.
