Description
Starry Night by Van Gogh digital recreation where I enhanced the original painting changed the colors to monochrome and yellow hues. In June 1889, while living at the Saint-Paul-de-Mausole in Saint-Remy-de-Provence, Vincent van Gogh painted The Starry Night. The canvas presents a restless night sky lit by swirling stars and a radiant morning planet, believed to be Venus. Below lies an imagined village framed by towering cypress trees. Created during a year of intense artistic output, the work contrasts natural observation with invention. Though Van Gogh criticized it himself, it has since become one of the most celebrated paintings in Western art and resides at the Museum of Modern Art.
