Artist's Description
For this image I used an 1978 map of San Francisco area, with the Berkeley part blended on old paper with the Sather Tower. Berkeley is a city on the eastern shore of San Francisco Bay in northern Alameda County, California. Sather Tower is a bell tower with clocks on its four faces, located in the campus of the University of California, Berkeley. Also known as The Campanile, it is the third-tallest bell-and-clock-tower in the world, and was built in 1914.
