The Metropolitan Cathedral Church and Basilica of Saint Chad in Birmingham, United Kingdom, at sunset – digital painting made from a photo where I made some small edits and I added painting texture. St. Chad's Metropolitan Cathedral in Birmingham, England, designed by Augustus Welby Pugin, stands as the mother church of the Archdiocese. Completed in 1841, it's among the first post-Reformation Catholic churches. Elevated to cathedral status in 1852, it's one of four minor basilicas in England. The Grade II* listed cathedral, located near St Chad's Queensway, serves as the Archbishop's seat.
