Mona Lisa in the style of the Great Wave off Kanagawa - digital recreation where I merged the Mona Lisa by Leonardo da Vinci with the style of The Great Wave off Kanagawa by Katsushika Hokusai. The Mona Lisa (Gioconda) is a half-length portrait painting considered an archetypal masterpiece of the Italian Renaissance. The painting is probably of the Italian noblewoman Lisa Gherardini, and was painted by the Italian artist Leonardo da Vinci, between 1503-1506. The Great Wave off Kanagawa, also known as The Great Wave or The Wave, is a woodblock print by the Japanese ukiyo-e artist Hokusai. Created in 1831, it is Hokusai's most famous work and is often considered the most recognizable work of Japanese art in the world.
