Palm trees in front of the Hollywood Sign, and dramatic sky – digital painting made from a photo where I made some small edits and I added painting texture. The Hollywood Sign is an American landmark and cultural icon overlooking Hollywood, and situated on Mount Lee in Santa Monica Mountains. The sign was erected in 1923 and its purpose was to advertise the name of a new housing development in the hills above the Hollywood district of Los Angeles. It was intended only to last a year and a half, but after the rise of American cinema in Los Angeles during the Golden Age of Hollywood, the sign became an internationally recognized symbol and was left there.

My name is Nicolae, and I live in western Romania. I like to create digital art from ordinary images, after editing them. The subjects for my work include animals, cityscapes, architecture and landscapes. My hobbies include history, photography and filming natural landscapes.
