Ruins of old baroque revival building with overgrown vegetation in Moneasa, Romania – digital painting made from a photo where I made some small edits and I added ink and watercolor painting texture. Vila Nufărul (Nufarul Villa), a symbol of the Moneasa resort, has become a ruin after being abandoned for several decades. The impressive building, 80 meters long, had marble-clad baths, rooms, salons, medical offices, social clubs, a casino, and a restaurant. After ceasing operations, the building was sold and resold, eventually becoming a ruin due to lack of repairs. The Moneasa resort, located at the foot of the Codru Moma Mountains, 100 kilometers from the city of Arad, is nicknamed the "Pearl of the Apuseni Mountains".
