Description
Seaboard Coast Line "Orange Blossom Special" passenger railroad car near the original Union Depot in Jacksonville at sunset - digital painting made from a photo where I made some small edits and I added painting texture. The building in the image near the old passenger railroad car is the last remaining segment of the original Union Depot, opened in 1895. When completed in 1919, the Jacksonville Terminal (Union Station) was the largest railroad station in the South. In 1986 was opened here the Prime F. Osborn III Convention Center. The Jacksonville Terminal is located in LaVilla, a historic African American neighborhood of Jacksonville, Florida.
