Description
Skyscrapers of Downtown Tampa and the Sticks of Fire sculpture seen from the Plant Park - digital painting made from a photo where I made some small edits and I added pen and watercolor painting texture. In the distance can be seen the the Rivergate Tower, Bank of America Plaza, the 100 North Tampa, and the Wells Fargo Center. The Sticks of Fire is a tall statue in Plant Park on the University of Tampa campus. It has seven pillars that represents lightning, as the name Tampa comes from a Native American word meaning lightning. Established in 1891 on the banks of the Hillsborough River, the Plant Park is Tampa’s oldest and largest public botanical garden and now part of the University of Tampa.
