Sticks of Fire sculpture in the Plant Park, Tampa – digital painting made from a photo where I made some small edits and I added a pencil sketch effect. The Sticks of Fire is a tall statue in Plant Park on the University of Tampa campus. The sculpture was commissioned in 1983 by the University of Tampa in cooperation with the City of Tampa Parks Department. It has seven pillars that represents lightning, as the name Tampa comes from a Native American word meaning lightning.

My name is Nicolae, and I live in western Romania. I like to create digital art from ordinary images, after editing them. The subjects for my work include animals, cityscapes, architecture and landscapes. My hobbies include history, photography and filming natural landscapes.
