Artist's Description
The Fountaingrove Round Barn, near Santa Rosa, with transition from color in the middle to a black and white gradient on the edges, digital painting made from a photo by brewbooks (https://www.flickr.com/photos/93452909@N00/6910946736), licensed under CC BY-SA 2.0, where I changed the sky and I added some texture and painting effects. The Fountaingrove Round Barn was built in 1899 by Kanaye Nagasawa, a member of Thomas Lake Harris’ New Eden of the West commune on the Fountaingrove land, near Santa Rosa, Sonoma County. The historic building was destroyed on October 9, 2017, during the Tubbs Fire.
