Description
The Great Wave off Kanagawa and the Shore of Tago Bay, Ejiri at Tōkaidō – digital recreation where I merged the 2 famous paintings by the Japanese artist Katsushika Hokusai and I added a sketch effect. The Great Wave off Kanagawa, also known as The Great Wave or The Wave, is a woodblock print by the Japanese ukiyo-e artist Hokusai. Created in 1831, it is Hokusai's most famous work and is often considered the most recognizable work of Japanese art in the world. Shore of Tago Bay, Ejiri at Tōkaidō (Tōkaidō Ejiri tago-no-ura), is a woodcut-print on paper produced for the famed series Thirty-Six Views of Fuji (Fugaku Sanjūrokkei), printed around 1830. It shows a romantic framing of Mount Fuji, snow-capped and receding from both cloud and land, towering over Tago bay.
