Description
The Lougheed House in Calgary, Canada, at sunset - digital painting made from a photo where I made some small edits and I added watercolor painting texture. Lougheed House, originally called Beaulieu, stands as a National Historic Site in Calgary's Beltline district. Built in 1891 for Senator James Alexander Lougheed, it boasts Victorian and Queen Anne Revival styles in its design. The mansion, with 48 rooms adorned in luxury, reflects the era's modern amenities. Designated both a Provincial and National Historic Site, it's a rare example of upper-class architecture on the Canadian Prairies.
