Description
The Scream and The Great Wave off Kanagawa - digital recreation where I merged The Scream by Edvard Munch with the style of The Great Wave off Kanagawa by Katsushika Hokusai. The Scream (Skrik) was created by Norwegian artist Edvard Munch in 1893. The agonized face in the painting has become one of the most iconic images of art, seen as symbolizing the anxiety of the human condition. The Great Wave off Kanagawa, also known as The Great Wave or The Wave, is a woodblock print by the Japanese ukiyo-e artist Hokusai. Created in 1831, it is Hokusai's most famous work and is often considered the most recognizable work of Japanese art in the world.
