Town of Lerwick seen from the harbor at sunset – digital painting made from a photo where I made some small edits and I added oil painting texture. Lerwick is the main town and port of the Shetland archipelago, Scotland. It's Shetland's only burgh and had a population of about 7,000 residents. Located off the north coast of the Scottish mainland and on the east coast of the Shetland Mainland, Lerwick is known for its maritime climate and long summer days with minimal darkness.
