Union Square near Powell Street in San Francisco – digital painting made from a photo where I made some small edits and I added a vintage look painting texture. Union Square is a public plaza bordered by Geary, Powell, Post and Stockton Streets in downtown San Francisco, California. The square and surrounding area is one of the largest collections of department stores, upscale boutiques, gift shops, art galleries, and beauty salons in the United States, making Union Square a major tourist destination. Two cable car lines (Powell-Hyde and Powell-Mason) serve Union Square on Powell Street. Powell Street connects from Market Street through Union Square, North Beach, Nob Hill, Russian Hill and ends at Fisherman's Wharf. In the image can be seen the palm trees of the green area of the square, and in the distance the Saks Fifth Avenue store and the Grand Hyatt San Francisco hotel.
