Colorful portrait of a thoroughbred horse in brown and green - digital painting made from a photo where I made some small edits and I added a colorful painting texture. The Thoroughbred is a horse breed developed for horse racing. Thoroughbreds are considered "hot-blooded" horses that are known for their agility, speed, and spirit. Because of its athleticism, the Thoroughbred is used for both show jumping and combined training in addition to racing. Many retired and retrained race horses go on to make fine family riding horses, dressage horses, and young show horses.
