Golden Driller statue in Tulsa, Oklahoma – digital painting made from a photo where I made some small edits and I added painting texture. The Golden Driller, a 75-foot-tall statue of an oil worker, stands in front of the Tulsa Expo Center since 1966. Originally temporary, its popularity led to permanent installation. Its right hand rests on a Seminole, Oklahoma oil derrick, and it bears a dedication to the petroleum industry at its base. In 1979, it became Oklahoma's state monument.
