Spiritualized Life sculpture in Memorial Park, Jacksonville – digital painting made from a photo where I made some small edits and I added watercolor ink painting texture. Commonly referred to as “Winged Victory”, the sculpture “Spiritualized Life” is the focal point of Memorial Park in Riverside, Jacksonville. It was created by Florida sculptor Charles Adrian Pillars, and unveiled in 1924. Memorial Park is located on the St. Johns River, and is the third-oldest park in Jacksonville, created in 1919.
