Description
The Church at Auvers on a Starry Night – digital recreation, where I merged the 2 famous paintings by Vincent van Gogh. The Starry Night was painted by the Post-Impressionist painter in June 1889, and it depicts the view from the east-facing window of his asylum room at Saint-Rémy-de-Provence, just before sunrise. The Church at Auvers (L'Église d'Auvers-sur-Oise) is an oil painting created in June 1890 which now hangs in the Musée d'Orsay in Paris, France. The actual church is in Place de l'Eglise, Auvers-sur-Oise, France, 27 kilometres north-west of Paris.
